What To Expect On Arrival

AIRPORT ARRIVALS

The large majority of our clients arrive in Split, Dubrovnik, and Zagreb for the start of their trip. We arrange private transfers for our guests from each of these airports to their hotels with the journey for each being around 40 minutes, depending on seasonal traffic. Our driver will be waiting in the arrivals section of the airport with a name board with your name on. Note that for cruise packages, transfers are only included on the day of embarkation and disembarkation.

PRIVATE TRANSFERS

We arrange private transfers for our guests to get to both airports and ferry ports. These will be with private drivers who will arrive at your hotel to pick you up or they will be waiting for you at the airport or harbor for you to arrive. Please note we typically arrange private transfers 60 minutes before the catamaran departures to allow for traffic and to ensure you do not get stuck at the back of a lengthy queue to board the catamaran/ferry.

HOTELS IN CROATIA

Check-in time for most hotels in Croatia is after 14:00 as hotels have implemented additional cleaning measures since the start of Covid-19. If you arrive early at a hotel, you will be able to drop off your luggage to be kept in safe storage. You will be able to use the hotel’s facilities or go for lunch before you check-in.

PAYING CITY TAX

Your hotel room will be pre-paid by us prior to your arrival. All European countries apply a tourism tax for guests to pay at the hotel at the end of their stay. This is a nominal amount that varies by country and is usually approximately 3 Euros per room, per day.
