Boarding the Ship

 

CHECK-IN TIME

On arrival day, we schedule transfers from hotels to the ships from late morning to early afternoon to ease the flow of traffic in the busy harbours. Your transfer time will be allocated on your final itinerary. This transfer time cannot be changed as its scheduled in conjunction with other clients boarding that day. If you arrive on an earlier flight, you are welcome to leave your luggage safely stored on the ship and go and explore the local area. You are able to check into your cabins from 2pm. There is a welcome speech at 7pm, where the captain and cruise manager will go through the plan for the week and highlight important safety procedures on board.

 

ACCESS TO THE SHIP

Our small cruise ships in Croatia are able to dock in ports on smaller, off-the-beaten track islands and secluded coves that are simply unattainable to large cruise ships. Please be advised that ships are moored alongside each other. You will need to be comfortable walking across several other ships, when embarking or disembarking. You will also need to be able to walk up and down staircases on the ship. Our guided walking tours, through the charming medieval streets, last for approximately one hour, walking at a relaxed pace, often over cobbled or uneven surfaces and occasionally uphill. Unforgettable Croatia will not accept responsibility for injuries when crossing from ship to ship to board or disembark the ship. We therefore ask that you take extra care and listen to our cruise managers welcome briefing on safety.

 

LATE ARRIVALS

If your flight is severely delayed or canceled, please contact us on our emergency number (indicated on your itinerary), and we will make the necessary arrangements to meet you and transport you to your ship on arrival.
